Shoe spotting

Spotted these shoes while
shopping. In the store they looked way weirder…but seeing them in
this photo I took they are kind of growing on me a bit. What do you
think? At first they just looked like the weirdest shoes, but although
they may be a bit unusual they really don’t look That weird. I
didn’t buy them, I bought another pair that I fell for straight
away not having to think about if they look weird or not haha. I’m
planning on wearing them this weekend so you will probably see them
in a post on Sunday or Monday

Chanel Madness – Any way you want it.

The crazy stuff people come up with..! I mean, I looooove
Chanel and I’m not
alone. People go cray cray when it comes to Designer labels and here is the
evidence. Not only is Chanel coming up with all sorts of products
but people make their own Chanel products that they want but can
find authentically made…or maybe can’t afford. Either way I found
a really cool collection of Chanel inspiration. Fake or not.

Photo-shoot with Nikki.

I told you guys that I had something to do nine days ago that I couldn’t tell you about just then… remember? You can check the post here.

Anyway, that sunday I had a photo-shoot with my gorgeous friend Nikki. It was so much fun! We were in our ‘home studio’ fixing with makeup, hair and outfits. Drinking champagne and laughing, trying not to die from the heat! Have to do it again soon
So here are the results with me behind the camera and Nikki in front of it, please tell me what you think! I absolutely love the photos, she is so stunning it’s not even funny!

Dinner at the Greek place.

So I went to the doctor here in Port Elizabeth today and they took some tests so I will know by next what’s going on. Hate it when they have to take blood haha I always end up being so pale that they ask me if I need to lie down for a bit! Anyway, I’m going for dinner and drinks now at the Greek place (can’t remember the name haha) with Ryan, Robin, Nikki, Martin and Mignon. Will be lovely – just hope I don’t get food poisoning this time! I’m just looking forward to a nice and chilled night tonight. I’m wearing my new jacket paired with an old dress. All black and gold today.

Unexpected shopping results..

The shopping trip to Greenacres ended like it usually does haha I came home with nothing of what I planned to buy. The reason for that is that Greeanacres doesn’t have any of the stuff I want and am looking for. But like most time I came home with a bunch of unplanned buys. Like small surprises to myself haha. I am in love with my new summer shoes from Woolworths, only reason I knew to buy them was because a friend has the same ones but with blue stripes. Also bought 2 pairs of shorts (my wardrobe was lacking in the shorts department) which I very happy about. Both pairs from Abercrombie & Fitch. My star scarf and aviator sunglasses I got at Jay Jay’s, and my chiffon-y type black see-through jacket was the biggest surprise of all considering how much I have been complaining Mr. Price and that’s exactly where I found it haha. I spotted a lot of nice shoes in there as well as workout clothes. Now what I still need is to find more tops. I can sit all day on Pinterest and Fancy and Tumblr and whatnot and think that I will be able to find all that stuff but the truth is that as long as I’m living in Port Elizabeth chances of me actually finding any of those things are very slim. I might have to start doing some online shopping again. Did a lot of that in Sweden

February Christmas Presents

This afternoon a package arrived for me from my mom. All the way from Sweden to Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Only takes about 1 1/2 months haha. Good thing she didn’t send me cheese! Instead I got a package of hand made things. Hand made as in made by my mom!

I got this lovely blanket – at the moment its lying on my bed as a throw or whatever it’s called.

 

Second thing I got was this hood-thingy. And as you can see my mom made it my fashion Fashion by Sofie. How sweet!

The third thing my mom made are these wrist warmers, not sure if that’s what they are actually called but I’m calling them that from now on haha. They are mine so I can call them whatever I want. I could call them Bernardies if wanted to, but I don’t, so I won’t, As you can see my little logo is on them too. Fashion by Sofie. I like it. Having my own logo. Also the wrist warmers are insanely fluffy and soft. Will be nice when it’s winter (a months from now).

The final thing in my package was this….troll? Yes, a troll. Wearing earrings that I will steal from him. Not sure if my mom made the earrings as well, she said it was all hand made so I’m guessing she did. Did you?

No makeup post

Today’s shopping was ok : ) got there in time to beat the cray cray lines! I’m not really a fan of Mr Price, especially not of their shop in Greenacres, cause they are always so disorganized and packed with people and only have like 2 peeps working. Not a very nice combo – I always feel like running away as soon as I step inside the door. Not saying all their shops are crap, it might be that the ones I’ve been to have been the worst ones. Anyway, I went in and grabbed the stuff, stood in line for 15 minutes, paid and left. But how cute are my new leopard shoes?? : )

I also got a new pair of workout pants from Nike that I love, some new underwear, fluffy slippers, workout t-shirt and a pair of basic black ballerinas. Decided to try a couple of new things as well – Garnier B.B. Cream Miracle Skin Perfector and L’Oréal Collagen Filler for fuller lips. Hard to see any real difference with collagen filler but the B.B. cream made my skin look amazing : )

I guess that’s also hard to see in the photo haha. And yes – I am wearing my new hoodie today again haha. No makeup photo – excuse the psycho look!  But seriously – try the B.B. cream I really recommend it.

Now it’s time to keep up with the Kardashians ; ) and wait for Ryan to get home. I’m gonna force him to do a face mask with me haha we need to look cute tomorrow – it’s our 4 year anniversary. I got a few surprises for him that I will share with you guys tomorrow. Later peeps!

Tuesday shopping and chilling

Hey everyone Hope you all had a nice day! I went shopping at Greenacres this morning – got a another lovely birthday present from Robin so I could shop shop shop :)
Found a few things, but will go back tomorrow. I realized that it is waaaay to close to Christmas haha everyone is in the mall doing their Christmas shopping and it gets insanely busy. I hate busy malls with a passion! Could only manage 2 hours before I desperately had to get out. Tomorrow I’m gonna try to be there just as they open – be one of the first people in so I can avoid the crazy long lines. Anyway, here’s what I got:

A new Nike dri-fit cap for when I’m out jogging. And a peach colored hoodie from Pineapple.

Lovely new sandals.

A tank top to work out in.

A pair of wedges.

I also got Ryan a pair of Adidas shoes. Super cool ones : ) They look way better than in this photo – took it in the shop haha.

So we will see if I can find something else cool tomorrow. I also need to do some Christmas shopping… guess I’m just as bad as all the other peeps running around the mall haha sure they would also love for it to be less busy.

It’s been a while…

So I haven’t posted anything since I got to Cape Town. Now we are back in Port Elizabeth again – have been for over a month. Cut back on the drinks (except for a few heavy weekends here) and the super unhealthy eating. But not quite back to normal yet. Mostly cause I can’t exercise – fell into a ravine and hurt my knee pretty bad so can’t run or jump around Well ok it wasn’t so much a ravine…more like I was struggling in the dark and fell 2 meters onto a nasty half concrete like surface. Anyway…! This weekend we are having a combined birthday party for me and Martin, his birthday is tomorrow and mine is on Monday. It’s all 70′s themed and disco decorated I’m so excited its not even funny!!!!

I know I haven’t been blogging at all this week so I thought I would just post a little bit of random Louis Vuitton for you guys while I take a break from my computer Ryan and Robin are leaving on saturday so tomorrow will be my last day to spend with them. New shoes and nachos.

Feeling way better today my arms are a bit sore but no fever or anything! Yay! Went shopping with Ryan at Walmer Park, a nice change from Greenacres. So much more organized and clean than Greenacres – loved it. We were trying to find a pair of sweat pants for Ryan but that seems pretty impossible – will just have to wait until saturday when we get to Jeffreys Bay, at least there we know that RVCA will have some. Anyway, I found a pair of shoes at Rage that I fell in love with! I have been looking for a cool pair of nude colored heels since like forever and finally I got a pair. They only got them at Rage 2 days ago.

 

 

 

After the short shopping trip we went to eat lunch at Tarantino’s. Nachos Because nachos rock. Love mexican food. Maybe I used to be mexican in a previous life or something. That would explain why I keep saying things like ‘Sí Señor!’…

I’m gonna be a Victoria’s Super Secret Angel…sort of.

Working out like a half crazy person – I have decided that when I am done (satisfied – not done working out) I will look like one of Victoria’s Secret long lost, forgotten and shorter angel. Not exactly dreaming of strutting around in my underwear in front of a live audience and millions of TV viewers, but at least in front of my mirror! Now I’m not saying I’m not happy the way I am, I love myself, I’m just saying that I feel like working out to get that slim, tight and toned look they all show off. It might not be the most realistic goal I’ve ever had seeing as it is hard work even for them to keep their bodies in that shape and they are all amazons who have fantastic genes, but I’m thinking “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land amongst the stars.” I’m on a roll here, feeling so good about my workouts that I just want to keep on going for hours. It has to be because of my new shoes – seriously.

Thigh High Boots / Over the Knee Boots

Good morning everyone!  I had the weirdest dream last night, I’m not going to tell you all about it but I will say this much: it involved a serial killing ‘real’ and human sized Donal Duck wearing thigh high stiletto boots. I didn’t reflect to much on the boots in my dream, cause I was trying not to get killed but when I woke up I started thinking about them. They are certainly not the easiest thing on the planet to wear, not sure I would ever wear a pair but they sure look cool on models, on Donald Duck not so much.

Lunch at Bridge Street Brewery – Outfit of the day

I kept my promise to myself and went jogging this morning Did a 8K jog/power walk. It was a beautiful morning and after my jog I was feeling on top of the world and have been all day really, in such a good mood. Went for an early lunch at the Bridge Street Brewery with Ryan. I feel like we go there a LOT, and we do, but I mean why not when the food is super yum and the place is really cool. I was told by my dear boyfriend today that no one really says ‘super yum’ which I thought was crazy so now I’m going to say it more often just because haha. Anyway, I had a super yum lovely greek salad, trying to be healthier and all but I suspect it really wasn’t all that healthy cause I mostly just ate the feta cheese and the olives, and to finish it all off I had a KitKat haha. Ryan had the bread board and home made style fries (chips). The bread board is probably the best thing to eat at Bridge Street Brewery, if you don’t eat meat cause I really wouldn’t know what the meat is like.

Women’s Day Lunch With the Guys.

 

 

Lovely day today – Woman’s Day and all We decided to go for lunch and enjoy the sunshine on the balcony at ‘The Kelway Hotel’. Turns out that there is absolutely nothing vegetarian to eat there so we just had a beer and chilled for a little while.  I think Robin needs couches like these on his balcony

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What I wore today: Top from H&M, Pants from Von Zipper, Bag from Chanel, Shoes…?, and the belt used to be my moms.

 

 

After The Kelway hotel we went to eat at ‘the Coachman’. Enjoyed the view and spotted a few dolphins in the water. I had this amazing starter for lunch called ‘Avocado Ritz’, basically avo with prawns, lettuce and dressing. We all ate a bit too much but it was so nice!

Dear Summer – I miss you.

I know I have been complaining a LOT about the weather lately but it’s hard not to when it’s freezing cold. I know I should be used to the cold cause I’m a Swedish Viking and all but no, I think the Viking genes got lost in the mix when creating me. I am always the coldest one. Today I haven’t even been able to walk around the apartment with socks on like I normally do. I am wearing socks and UGG boots and my poor feet are still cold. Right at this moment I am sitting with a hot water bottle in my lap wearing 2 tops and a hoodie, 2 scarfs, jeans, socks and the UGGs and drinking hot coffee. I am very very aware of the fact that wearing UGG boots is one of the biggest fashion mistakes a person can make but who cares when your feet feel like snowballs.

At the same time Ryan is out in the drizzling rain surfing. Crazyyyyy. But that’s passion for you!

Shopping in Jeffreys Bay.

Got ready this morning for a trip to Jeffreys Bay with Ryan. It didn’t really feel that cold so I wore a skirt and a t-shirt with boots and my lovely leather jacket. By the time we got there it started to rain a bit, and for some weird reason some of the shops decided it was a good idea to have their air con on making it colder (think freeze-box) inside than it was outside. After about 2 hours of shopping it started Raining. Heavy rain. Raining sideways with raindrops the size of marbles. Lovely, not so much. Luckily I bought a RVCA hoodie at the last place (the RVCA store) before we headed out into the rain and back into the car. So I just put it on like a second after it was paid for. RVCA by the way has the coolest stuff for guys – love them!

Didn’t really need the sunglasses…

Got most of the guys (Ryan & Robin’s) Indo trip shopping done which was great.

Three RVCA t-shirts. The grey one was actually for me but silly little me forgot to check the size before buying it haha. A medium is waaay too big, should have gotten a XS, so I gave it to Ryan.

Surf wax, sunscreen, ding repair kit (?) and a million (5) board socks.

RVCA shorts! Love them. For Ryan, not me. I got a pair of leather shorts love them even more.

Board short and rash vests (? correct me if I’m wrong – I’m not a surfer).

Two coffin bags so that they can pack 3 boards in each one.

Would have loved to stay and shop a bit longer but the weather just made it impossible. Most of the stuff there is really surf fashion and surf stuff but it’s not impossible find cute things anyway.

Another day of shopping

Went shopping again today, and yet again couldn’t find anything. Booooring! Well… not saying I didn’t buy anything I actually got myself 2 pairs of sunglasses, 3 basic tops, 2 pairs of earrings, a pocket mirror thingy, a pair of sweatpants and managed to get 3 ear piercings! But I just can’t find anything cool to wear so I am still checking online and have found a few lovelies that I wanna order. I had so much hope for YDE (Young Designers Emporium – http://www.yde.co.za ) with their new stock but the prices were ridiculous. And once again I realized today that just because something looks good on someone else does not mean it will look good on me, I’m just gonna go with what I know works for me from now on.

Oh and I fell in love with a pair or heels that I’m gonna go back and buy tomorrow! Pink neon peep toe. Amazing! The photos don’t do them justice at all.

 

 

What happened to the shopping?

Went shopping today and had a few things in mind that I needed to buy, like underwear, jogging pants, sweatpants, a white shirt, leather pants, tops and stuff. But turns out there is nothing in the whole mall (Greenacres) to buy…well that’s what it felt like at least. I got back home with a new MAC mascara (LOVE). So today I have been checking like a crazy person for a good online shop that ships to South Africa. So far I’ve come up with ASOS… Cannot believe Nelly.com only ships their stuff within the EU. That used to be my fav place o shop Do you guys have any good suggestions for where to shop online?

 

 

Nicole Richie hair inspiration

So today I went to Dash hair studio with Ryan and Robin to get our hair cuts and stuff. I was so inspired by Nicole Richie’s bangs (or her fringe – whichever you prefer) and showed my hairdresser some photos and told her This is what I need! It didn’t end up looking exactly the same, I don’t wear extensions in my hair and my skull is different from hers/different head shape and different hair colour and texture, but I still love my new hair cut
